Sealegs is looking for a skilled Deburrer to join its team of Amphibious Pioneers.

You will work independently and part of a team to plan and perform sanding and finishing operations of exacting tolerance on production componentry. Parts are typically at or near final stages of the manufacturing process with tight tolerance limits, requiring periods of concentration for extended periods of time.

Typical Duties:

  • Follow standard finishing applications in order to achieve required finish characteristics.

  • Perform precise chamfering operations on parts, without damaging other critical part dimensions.

  • Work from quality review and corrective work documents to repair or rework parts.

  • Work independently with support groups, as needed, to address problems and resolve matters.

  • Support other specialized assignments within the scope and skill level of this position.

  • May be assigned to carry out tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individuals’ skills.

  • May be required to train for, obtain skills within other areas, as assigned.

  • Experience deburring and sanding parts required.

  • Must have experience using power tools.

The position is a full time, 40 hour week. Hours are 7am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7am to 1pm Friday.
