SEALEGS DELIVERS MORE TO MALAYSIA

Amphibious boat manufacturer Sealegs announces partnership with Malaysian Government for flood management relief

 

Sealegs International Ltd, is today delighted to announce the delivery of two Sealegs 7.1 meter Sports RIB's to the state of Pahang in Malaysia. The ceremony was held in the capital city state of Pahang, Kuantan on the east coast of the Malaysia peninsular. Sealegs CEO David McKee-Wright said. "It's wonderful to be partnering with the state government of Pahang's initiative to assist in enhancing their flood management efficiency program." McKee-Wright went on to say "The Chief Minister announced that the craft will be handed over to the Malaysian Civil Defence Force, state of Pahang to help flood victims in the region. The state of Pahang's Civil Defence team has had two Sealegs amphibious craft in operation since 2018.

Mr Ibrahim Ali Abdul Wahab, Sales Manager for the Sealegs Malaysia reseller, LMT Marine stated. "The Sealegs craft have been invaluable in assisting with flood relief efforts in the past - they are a fantastic resource... The Malaysian Government are excited to have received two more of these best-in-class craft." It was also noted that Pahang state is the first state in Malaysia to purchase and utilise Sealegs craft with the remaining 12 states now watching on closely and expressing interest.
