Sealegs supplies craft to Malaysian Police Force
Sealegs International, the amphibious craft manufacturer based in Auckland, New Zealand, is continuing to grow its commercial fleet in the Asia Pacific region. In conjunction with their Malaysian distributor LMT Maritime SDN BHD, Sealegs have just delivered three commercial 7.1m RIB’s to the Malaysian Police Force, with more orders likely later this year.
Sealegs is the world’s leading amphibious marine craft manufacturer and their craft give rescue and patrol organizations unique multi-role capabilities which cannot be performed by any other type of craft. All Sealegs amphibious boats are purpose build as a highly versatile and reliable professional craft that offers the ability to safely perform critical missions in areas previously considered inaccessible. The patented Sealegs amphibious system allows the occupants of a Sealegs craft to drive on land or water and smoothly transition between the two whilst all passengers remain onboard.
Sealegs has a number of craft in the Asia-Pacific region in commercial applications such as: Air Services Australia, Tauranga Coastguard, Australian Parks and Wildlife, Hibiscus Coastguard, Broome Sea Rescue, Torquay Sea Rescue, Thailand Police and Thailand Fire Departments.
