Sealegs signs as partner to worlds largest amphibious event.

14 February 2012

Today Sealegs International Limited has announced its support as the major
sponsor to the 2012 Onetangi Beach Races at Waiheke Island on 19 February.

Running for more than 100 years, the Onetangi Beach Races have a long rich
history of family fun. The white sand beach hosts several unusual races
ranging from wheel barrel racing, tractor racing, horse races and most
recently the world''s only annual amphibious boat race.

Sealegs has been a part of the event for several years during which time the
Sealegs user base has grown to in excess of 50 boats.

"The spectacle of the Sealegs Amphibious Boat Race is incredibly unique but
something I hope to see grow in popularity around the world as our
international customer base grows" said the company  co-founder David McKee
Wright.

He went on to say "it''s great to meet and share amphibious adventure stories
with our early customers from as far back as 2004.  This year we plan to
surprise those competing with a preview of the 7.7M amphibious cabin boat,
which is scheduled for public release in March 2012.

Waiheke Island is the ideal setting for a Sealegs craft - as Sealegs owners
have discovered - with holiday houses close to the water and direct access to
the many beaches, a Sealegs simply makes boating easy and more convenient.

The amphibious technology brings together high on water performance with
incredible ease in launching and retrieving the craft from the water.
Launching and landing a Sealegs is completed simply by pushing a few buttons
to lower the ''legs'' into the water and to drive the craft out of the water
and across the beach - and up to your holiday home. No trailers, no tractors
or assistance is required to launch a Sealegs - no hassle, no drama.

Mr. McKee Wright went on to say "not only is the race a unique spectacle it
also provides an inspiration.  Nantucket, Marthas Vineyard and Long island
all exhibit the same recreational characteristics as the island of Waiheke
but are many times bigger representing a much larger potential install base."

Join Sealegs at Waitangi Island, Onetangi Beach on February 19th.
