Sealegs release Limited Edition All Blacks Boat

Driving straight off the production line and into The Cloud on 2 September, Sealegs is delighted to announce the production of its 600th amphibious boat. The model is a limited edition, 7.1m RIB, designed in Black and limited to a production run of 15.

Sealegs is the Official Marine Partner of the All Blacks, and the world’s largest manufacturer of amphibious boats.  The uniquely New Zealand invention can seamlessly transition from land to water so you can drive straight into the sea and back again. This means quick, easy, independent access to the water for recreational boat users and search and rescue teams.

At the milestone event David McKee-Wright spoke on behalf of Sealegs and said: “Six years ago amphibious boating was just a dream. Today we look back having pioneered a new segment in the international marine industry, manufactured 600 boats and delivered product to over 30 countries. In addition to this achievement, we have the proud honour to launch our 600th boat at the Cloud in support of the All Blacks in the year New Zealand host the Rugby World Cup.

Displaying at the iconic cloud will introduce Sealegs to parts of the world that have not seen amphibious boating yet and the partnership with the All Blacks will demonstrate our commitment to quality, innovation and determination.

To commemorate the landmark event Sealegs has worked alongside the All Blacks in the lead up to the Rugby World Cup to produce a series of videos.

McKee Wright added: “We had a lot of fun making the videos with the All Blacks and sharing them at such an inspirational time for New Zealand is indicative of how the company feels about its future.”

In addition to becoming Official Marine Sponsor of the All Blacks, Sealegs has recently opened its first international showroom, in Boston, New England as it expands its global brand.
