Sealegs Appoints New Director
Listed marine company Sealegs Corporation (NZX:SLG), has today announced that it has appointed Simon Vodanovich to its board of directors.
Mr Vodanovich is a partner of law firm Buddle Findlay, where he heads its Auckland corporate and commercial law team. He has particular expertise in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, takeovers and securities law. Mr Vodanovich advises a number of companies listed on the NZX and has previously acted for Sealegs, in particular in relation to its 2002 restructuring and capital raising. He is also a former member of the New Zealand Stock Exchange.
“Mr Vodanovich will strengthen our Board,” says John Robertson, Chairman of Sealegs Corporation Limited.
“He joins as an independent director, bringing significant legal knowledge and expertise, commercial acumen and corporate governance experience to the table.”
“As Sealegs develops its local and international markets, Mr Vodanovich’s input and guidance will be most valuable.” Mr Robertson said.
