NZ Prime Minister visits Sealegs

Sealegs International (NZX: SLG) today announced that the Prime Minister John Key visited the company’s Albany production facility.

The visit and factory tour was part of the North Harbour Business Associations AGM which invited Sealegs to participate as an innovation and ideas based company achieving global success in the export sector.

Sealegs CEO Mr David McKee Wright said “we’re very proud to achieve the recognition and support of the NZ government as an innovative ideas company which is exporting New Zealand made products”.

 
Sealegs recently announced government orders to both India and Malaysia both of which are looking to sign free trade agreements with New Zealand.   Sealegs also said that sales activity has bounced back from recessionary levels and that the company currently has more than 40 boats pre-sold worth approximately $5 million in future revenue.
